Frank William Most, age 69 of Grand Rapids, Michigan, unexpectedly passed away on January 4, 2019, going home to be with his Lord and Savior. Born on April 26, 1949, husband of Kathy Most (Huizinga) for nearly 50 years.
Frank is survived by children Michele (Ken) Schaafsma, Jennette (Chad) VanSweden and five grandchildren: Emma, Eli, Nick, Grace, and Colton. Surviving siblings are Maria Cox, Tom Most and Connie Vanderwall. He was preceded in death by parents Bill and Eunice Most.
Loving husband, father and doting ‘papa’, generous with his time and resources, he took pleasure in serving others and advocating for those in need. He never met a stranger and always had a smile and a story — to tell and retell—leaving those around him laughing.
Respected local business owner of Most Enterprising for over 50 years, hardworking and honest, he loved his work, his loyal crew and serving his clients. He enjoyed mentoring many young men to begin successful businesses of their own. He was active in Calvary Church and enjoyed riding with the Christian Motorcycle Association.
Visitation on Wednesday, January 9 from 3 to 5 and 6 to 8 at Reyers North Valley Chapel. Visitation on Thursday, January 10 from 10 to 11 with funeral at 11 at Calvary Church, 707 E Beltline Ave NE, Grand Rapids, MI 49525. Donations can be made to Baptist Haiti Mission at www.bhm.org, a children’s charity they’ve supported for years.
