Ann Wiltenmuth Hebert passed away on Saturday, January 5, 2019 at the age of 81 surrounded by her family. She was the beloved wife of the late Earl Hebert Sr., and the loving mother of Pamela Uhle (Barry), Earl Hebert, Jr. (Julie), and Tina Hebert. Daughter of the late Marie Melerine and Herman Wiltenmuth. Proud “Mimi” of Kelly Hebert Rogowski (Kevin), Krista Hebert Holland (Rich), Alyce Uhle Carron (Mark), and Nicholas Uhle (Brittany). Great “Mimi” of Ian and Bryce Rogowski, Rock, Lainey, and Maizie Holland, Sawyer and Emerson Carron, and Isla and Noah Uhle.
Ann was born in New Orleans, but spent her adult life as a resident of St. Bernard Parish, except for a brief period after Katrina when she resided in Picayune MS. She was a proud member of the Old Ninth Ward Gang and the Les Danseurs Acadian. She will be remembered as a loving and devoted wife, mother, grandmother, and friend, and will be greatly missed. She treasured her family and found great joy in being with them above all else.
The family would like to extend our sincere appreciation to sitters Betty and Cathy for their compassionate care, and to the loving staff of Heart of Hospice who guided the family to the end.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend a visitation to be held at ST. BERNARD MEMORIAL FUNERAL HOME, 701 W. Virtue St., Chalmette, LA on Wednesday, January 9th from 10:00AM – 1:00PM, followed by a Funeral Mass in memory of Ann beginning at 1:00PM. She will be laid to rest with her beloved husband in St. Bernard Memorial Gardens.
