Martha Elizabeth Brewer Migliore, a resident of St. Charles Parish, passed away on January 5, 2019 at the age of 85. She is preceded in death by her beloved husband, Anthony “Brother” Migliore. She is also preceded in death by her parents, Walter and Fannie Brewer. She is survived by her loving “girls”, Angela Matherne (late Sterley), Marsha Walters (Burt), Valerie Mule’ (Donald), Elizabeth Henderson (Fredy), and Dianne Mayeux (Dwayne). She is also survived by her grandchildren, Blake Matherne, Amy Matherne, Brad Walters, Amanda Walters Roussel, Matthew Walters, Danielle Mule’ Hymel, Dustin Mule’, Luke Henderson, Dillon Henderson, Joshua Henderson, Derek Mayeux, and Deborah Mayeux Dinino, as well as 14 great-grandchildren and one on the way. She is also survived by her brother, Robert Brewer and his wife, Pat of Petal, Mississippi, in addition to numerous nieces, nephews, great nieces, and great nephews.
Martha spent her early years in Petal, Mississippi and met the love of her life, Brother, in Biloxi. Together they worked side by side in the family business in Good Hope, Louisiana until they retired. She devoted her life to raising her “girls” and dedicated herself to the care and love of her extended family. She was an avid golfer and a very big LSU fan. Martha also enjoyed traveling, completing the newspaper crossword puzzles, going to the casino, cooking, crocheting, baking and sharing her special Italian cookies during the Christmas holidays.
She will truly be missed by her five daughters and their husbands, her grandchildren and great-grandchildren, and everyone who was blessed to know her.
The family members would like to extend their heartfelt gratitude to the staff of Ashton Manor Assisted Living in Luling and KSI Companion Care for all the love and attention they provided.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend a visitation at St. Charles Borromeo Catholic Church, 13396 River Road, in Destrehan, Louisiana on Friday, January 11, 2019 beginning at 11:15 a.m. Mass of Christian Burial will begin at 1:00 p.m. Interment will follow in the Church mausoleum. Pallbearers will be her grandsons.
