Sylvan J. Greenberg passed away peacefully Monday January 7, 2019 at the age of 95.
Born in New York to Harry and Rose on July 21, 1923, Sylvan lived a life of joy and service. He proudly served as a Signalman First Class for the U.S. Navy from 1942-1946, stationed on board ships in the Pacific. Happily married for 62 years to Hannah Greenberg (d. 2010) and leaves behind devoted daughter Jodi Greenberg Noble. He is survived by his sisters, another daughter, four grandchildren and five great-grandchildren. Energetic and social through the end of his life, he was a member of The Friars Club and The 100 Club. His warmth, generosity, good humor, and loving nature will be forever remembered by the loving family and friends he has left behind.
