It is with great sadness that the family of Julie (Lock) Bourgeois announces her sudden passing on Thursday, January 10, 2019, at the age of 49. Raised in Grosse Pointe Woods, Michigan, Julie was a loving mother, a selfless friend, and looking forward to starting her new career at Elite Airways.
Julie will be lovingly remembered by her children, Brian, Sarah, and Jack; parents, Jerry and Mary Ellen Lock; sisters, Molly Chan, Kate Quinn, and Laura Rumble; brother, Tim Lock; former husband and cherished friend, David Bourgeois; and many nieces and nephews. She will also be forever remembered by countless friends who adored her and the numerous kids Julie taught at Assumption Nursery School.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, January 17, 2019 starting at 12:00 pm at St. Mary Church, 157 High St., Williamston, Michigan. A memorial mass at St. Mary will begin at 1:00 pm, followed by a luncheon at St. Mary’s hall. Those who desire may make memorial donations for the benefit of Julie’s children and may send them to Julie Bourgeois Memorial Fund, PO Box 21036, Lansing, MI 48909-1036.
