Raymond joined the U.S. Air Force at the age of 16, and served for 20 years, including a one year tour in Vietnam in 1968-69. His time was spent in the medical field. He served in various parts of the world including Germany, Vietnam, and in many parts of the United States. Following his retirement from the military, he drove trucks professionally for the next 20+ years, receiving many awards for safe driving.
Raymond is preceded in death by his mother and father, his brother Nick, his sister Delores, and his wife Margaret.
He is survived by his brother, Paul, his sons Rick (JoAnne) Davis from Abilene, Randall K (Linda) Tucker from Kerrville, Tx, Gary D. (Sue) Tucker from Melissa, Tx, Christopher B. (Jennifer) from Oklahoma City, Ok; grandchildren Alyssa (David) Stander, Robin G. (Kevin) Knippel, Brockton (Mellissa) Davis, April D. Matthews, Ember J. Tucker, Ashley (Trevor) Hubbard, Nathan (Megan) Davis, Marshall Tucker, Garrett Tucker, Zachary (Sara) Tucker, Callan Tucker; and 14 great grandchildren.
