Annie F. Devlin, 95, of Cortlandt Manor passed away on Monday, January 28, 2019. Born in Cardonald, Scotland on March 22, 1923, she was the only child of Thomas and Isabella Fehrenbach. In 1944, she married Charles Devlin at Our Lady of Lourdes Church in Glasgow before immigrating to the United States in 1953. They lived in Yonkers for 26 years before moving to Montrose where they lived for the next 38 years until 2017 when she moved to the Seabury in Cortlandt Manor. Annie was an active member of St. Christopher’s Church as well as the Verplanck and Cortlandt Seniors. She enjoyed traveling, dancing, reading, knitting, and most of all spending time with her family and friends. She is survived by her three children, Charles P. Devlin (Ellen) of Irvington, NY, Anne Devlin Carmody (William) of Cortlandt Manor, NY, and Maureen Devlin Collins (Michael) of Sandy Hook, CT. She is also survived by her four grandchildren, Meagan D. O’Sullivan (Michael), Michael P. Devlin (Ashlee), Sean D. Carmody, and Kevin P. Carmody (Alexandria); and two great-grandsons, Sam and Jack O’Sullivan. She is predeceased by Charlie, her loving Husband and favorite dancing partner of 64 years. She will be waked at the EDWARD F. CARTER FUNERAL HOME, 170 Kings Ferry Rd., Montrose, NY from 2-7pm today, Thursday, January 31, 2019. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at St. Christopher’s Church in Buchanan, NY on Friday, February 1st at 10:00 am. Cremation Services will be Private.
