A Celebration of his Life will be held at 11:00 AM Monday at Snow’s Memorial Chapel, Cherry Street. Burial will be private. Rev. Rex Odom will officiate. The family will greet friends following the service and asks that in lieu of flowers, donations be made to the donor’s favorite charity.
Mr. Blossom was born in Macon the son of the late Helen Parker Blossom and George L. Blossom, Jr. Bo graduated from Mount DeSales in 1971 and received his B.S. from Georgia Southern in 1976. Mr. Blossom worked as a research chemist in the Kaolin industry for 40 years. He started his career at Dry Branch Kaolin Co. and retired from Burgess Pigment Co. in October 2018.
Bo loved restoring vintage motorcycles and Volkswagens. He also enjoyed building and flying model airplanes. Many of his skills were acquired from earning the Eagle Scout Award at the age of 14.
Bo was a loving husband, father, grandfather, and brother. Mr. Blossom is survived by his wife, Teresa “Terry” Blossom of Macon. February 7th would have been their 40th wedding anniversary. He is also survived by his children, Benjamin “Ben” Blossom (Ellen) of Nashville, TN and Sarah Rolfes (Nash) of Macon; granddaughter, Emmaline Rolfes of Macon; sister, Sissy Blossom (Ted Fowler) of Houston, TX.
