James was an amazing father & husband who loved his family and believed family came first. If you ever met him, you would never forget him, and all who knew him, loved him. He was a veteran of the U.S.M.C., having served eight years of dedicated service. He was a combat veteran, serving three tours in Iraq, and one tour in Afghanistan. He was a member of the Vietnam Vets Legacy Vets Motorcycle Club.
A funeral service will be held at 12:00pm, Tuesday, February 5, 2019 at Johnson Funeral Home, Jacksonville. Burial will follow at Coastal Carolina State Veteran Cemetery with military honors.
The family will receive friends, 6:00pm-8:00pm, Monday, February 4, 2019 at Johnson Funeral Home, Jacksonville
He was preceded in death by his mother, Lutitia Caudill.
He is survived by his wife, Tonja Buckland of the home. His daughter, Shelby Buckland. Father, Elvis Caudill and brother, John Caudill. Niece, Jordan McCoy. Father-in-law, William McCoy, & Mother-in-law, Cindy Graves. Brother-in-law, Dustin McCoy & wife Cindy, and Michael Clark, who was like a son to him, all of Jacksonville. In addition to his beloved family, he also leaves behind a multitude of friends.
