Donna Lee (Seretto) Fromerth, 70, of East Hartford, passed away peacefully on February 2, 2019. She was the beloved wife of Michael H. Fromerth for 50 years. Donna was born on December 28, 1948 in Hartford, a daughter of the late Philip and Lillian (Weir) Seretto.
Donna grew up in Manchester, and enjoyed spending summers at Lake Winnipesaukee. She graduated from Manchester High School and attended Manchester Community College. Donna worked in the restaurant industry for many years as a shift supervisor and retired from JCPenney.
Donna was dedicated to her church, St. Isaac Jogues, where she was a member of the Women’s Auxiliary, and volunteered at the Bingo Hall. She enjoyed bowling and was a Red Sox and UConn women’s basketball fan.
Donna was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and sister. Spending time with her family and caring for them brought the greatest joy to her life. She adored her 2 grandchildren.
She will be remembered for her kind and giving soul, and will be dearly missed by her beloved husband Michael, her 2 children; son Michael Fromerth and his wife Tineeka and their 2 children Jonathan and Justin, and daughter Michelle Fromerth and her partner Paul Mitchell, all of East Hartford, brother Larry Seretto and his wife Carol of East Granby, brother-in-law and sister-in-law David and Jeanne Fromerth or Ellenton, FL., nieces, nephews and many dear friends.

Calling hours will be held on Tuesday, February 5, 2019 4pm-7pm at Newkirk & Whitney Funeral Home, 318 Burnside Ave. East Hartford, CT 06108. Services will begin on Wednesday, February 6, at 9am at the funeral home, followed by her Mass of Christian Burial at 10am at St. Isaac Jogues Church, 1 Community Street, East Hartford.
