While there and for the remainder of his life, he devoted much of his time to writing, including publishing several books. Harry also delved into the history of St. Augustine, especially that of the area's hauntings. He enjoyed operating ghost tours there for a number of years and sharing his love for the city. Saint Augustine and its people were the delight of his last twenty years. He was always meeting new people and bringing them into his inner circle. Harry is survived by a brother, George T. Stafford III, a sister, Lyn C. Stafford, and numerous nieces and nephews, and great-nieces and -nephews.
