Raymond D. Moore, age 83 of Chesterland, died peacefully at home on February 3, 2019 shortly after his 62nd wedding anniversary to Patricia. He was born October 26, 1935 in Litchfield, KS. In 1955, Ray joined the Navy as a naval air crewman third class stationed in Virginia Beach, where he met his wife. They moved to Cleveland in 1959 and Chesterland in 1968. Ray was an electrician for General Motors for 28 years and a proud member of the United Auto Workers Local 780, before retiring in 2000. Beloved husband of Patricia (nee Tscherne); loving father of Raymond, Marnette (Brian) Walmsley, James (Ursula), and Judy; proud grandfather of Race, Adam, Kaila, Matthew (deceased), and Megan; and loved by Paul, Dawn, Al (deceased), and Ruth. He was preceded in death by his father, Dale; mother, Minnie (nee Sanders); and brothers, Earl and Marian. Friends may call at GATTOZZI AND SON FUNERAL HOME, 12524 Chillicothe Rd.
