Deborah Lynn McGuire

She was born July 19, 1959 in Kankakee, IL, to John P. and Norma Jean (Cloos) Roche. She married Michael James McGuire April 16, 1994. He preceded her in death on May 28, 2009.

She is survived by one stepson Patrick (Cara) McGuire of Normal, and three step grandkids; one sister Karen (John) Mills of Fairbury, IL, one brother Jackie Roche of Kempton, IL; two nephews Nathan (Tecia) Mills, Matthew (Shannon) Mills of Mohomet, IL; two nieces Heather (Pete) Pintz, Glen Ellyn, IL and Laura (Tay) Chapman, Streamwood, IL; and many great nieces and nephews.

She was preceded by her parents, one sister Marsha Boma; one niece Jennifer Boma; and one great niece Tess Mills.

Debbie graduated from Tri-Point High School in 1978, Cullom, IL and was Homecoming Queen her senior year. Debbie loved spending time with her dogs Duncan and Toto (deceased) and also Cricket.

She worked at Hicksgas Cullom, IL; McLean County Circuit Clerk (traffic Divison) and McLean County Emergency Management, Bloomington, IL.

The family would like to thank Meadows and OSF Hospice for their wonderful care of Debbie.

Funeral services will be Wednesday, February 13, 2019 at 10 a.m. at East Lawn Funeral Home. Visitation will be one hour prior to services at the funeral home. Interment will follow at Hinthorn Cemetery in Hudson, IL. Pastor Danny McCubbins will officiate.
