James Lang Hamilton, 81, of Orlando, Florida passed away peacefully at his home on February 7, 2019. Jim was born on November 8, 1937 in Moultrie, Georgia to the late James Brady and Ocie Eudora (Kennedy) Hamilton. Jim was affectionately known by family and friends as “Ham.” He was a veteran of the United States Air Force and served proudly. Jim was retired from Martin Marietta, now known as Lockheed Martin. Ham loved watching TV and could tell you history on most all actors. He was an avid sports enthusiast and enjoyed the Miami Marlins, Orlando Magic and college football, especially UF, where his grandson graduated and FSU, where his granddaughter graduated. Ham was a member of River Run Christian Church.
He is survived by his beloved wife of 62 years, Rebecca “Becky” Hamilton; sons, Brady and Denny Hamilton and daughter, Tina (Hamilton) Legg, along with four grandchildren, Daniel, Samantha, Emma and Sarah. His grandchildren were his pride and joy.
