Frances Louise Pratt was born in St Louis Missouri to Frances Lucille Migava and William Albert Miller on August 20, 1944. She married Charles Wayne Spani on December, 1963. They had one child Constance Jolene Spani, who is married to Randy McFarland. Frances has five grandchildren, Meghan, Macy, Madison, Morgan, and Mariah and two great grandchildren, Luke and Londyn.
Frances raised her daughter in Herrin, Illinois and went to work for Union Pacific Railroad. After almost 30 years of working for the railroad company, she decided to relocate to Texas and retire to be close to her grandchildren.
Frances was very involved in her local women’s bible study groups and also was President in her local chapter of Women’s Aglow. France’s favorite activities was to travel and spend time with her family. She traveled to Africa on a missions outreach, also travel to Hawaii, Alaska, all over the US and love to take cruises. One of her most memorable vacations was going to Branson Missouri, especially Silver Dollar City with her daughter when she was younger and then returning with her granddaughters. Her favorite ride was the Electro Spin. Which after Frances had ridden it 8 times in a row with a huge smile on her face each time, we noticed a sign that states “not for people with a heart condition”……..!
Frances was a very loving, caring, and generous person whose family meant the world to her. She was preceded in death by her mother and father, Frances Lucille Migava and William Albert Miller. Frances is survived by her sister and brother-n-law Billie and Bob Wilce, her brother William Miller, daughter Constance and son-n-law Randy McFarland, her grandchildren, Meghan, Madison, Morgan, Mariah, Macy and her husband Preston Benjamin. Also, Frances had two great grandchildren, Luke and Londyn Squyres.
The celebration of life service is scheduled Tuesday February 19,, 2019 at 1pm at J.E. Foust & Son Funeral Home, 523 S. Main Street, Grapevine, TX with burial to follow at Rolling Oaks Memorial Center, Coppell Texas.
