Jerry A. Tilton (68) of Attica passed Tuesday, February 12, 2019 at the Willows of Willard after a lengthy illness with Parkinson’s. He was born March 11, 1950 in Willard to the late Carl and Cleo (Kurtz) Tilton. Jerry was a graduate of Attica High School, Class of 1968, veteran of the US Navy serving during the Vietnam War and after the service was in sales in the lumber business. He was a member of the Bethlehem Lutheran Church and enjoyed listening to music, dancing, boating and fishing at Lake Erie, woodworking, flying kites and riding bikes on the beach, but spending time with his family, was what he cherished most.
Jerry is survived by his wife: Jacquelyn (Gangluff) Tilton who he married in 1971, 2 sons: Jerod (Elisabeth) Tilton of Galena and Jordan (Anne) Tilton of Westerville, 7 grandchildren: Gabriel, Patrick, Schuyler, Charles, Elizabeth, Elle and Finn Tilton, Mother-In-Law: Dorothy Robey of New Washington, step brother: John Lehner of Bucyrus, and sister: Terri (Chris) Huffman of Attica. He was preceded in death by his parents, 3 sisters: Donna Cramer, Pat Graham and Cindy Weaver and stepmother June Tilton.
Funeral Services will be held at 11:00 AM on Saturday, February 16, 2019 at Bethlehem Lutheran Church, 326 South Main Street, Attica, with Pastor Edward Hunker officiating. Friends may call at Bethlehem Lutheran Church, from 9 a.m. until the time of the service on Saturday.
