Alex and I went to school together during the Master's program in Producing for Film. It was great that he knew a lot about business marketing and how that tied into filmmaking. He understood my corny jokes and he was witty enough to dish them back.

Alex was so well spoken and had a sharp demeanor. You can pick out his tv host-voice in a crowd at a Seahawks game. He was precise with his words and a joy to work with.

I remember this time in class where he dared me to pitch a story to our peers using a random object in the room. I gave him the same dare. He was impressed that I was able to engage the class with a doorknob, and I had to save him when he struggled with his story about a PA system speaker. We chuckled at each other, and our classmates were clueless.

You will be missed Alex. Don't listen to our condolences for too long. Your new adventure awaits. Can't wait to hear your new stories.

Alex my love, my beautiful muse, what attracted me to you right away was your goofy facial expression. You made me laugh instantly in a sad time of my life and my grief went away like magic. You found the key to my heart and I knew at that moment you were someone special,  worthy of a masterpiece. You are a beautiful creation. You inspire me with your kindness, intelligence, your charm, patience, sense of humor, and gratefulness. I will never forget you and will fulfill my promise to lift you higher than the stars in my paintings. I wanted to let you know after your trip from Mexico that I was falling deeply in love with you and will express that in my paintings of you. I will see you again, wait for me in heaven, my sweet love.

Alex, You brought so much love and joy to our family.  You were thoughtful, funny,  kind and loving.   You were everything good.   I will forever treasure the memories, you are deeply missed.

My first sweet face. Alex, I loved you from the moment you were born. You have brought me so much joy in my life, you were such a loving, happy person.  I was blessed to be your Tia Isa.

There are too many memories to share. Everything reminds me of you, because everything excited you. You lived in a world of endless possibilities. You used your brilliance to create and imagine. Amongst  those collections of memories, my favorites were our talks. You would say for hours that you needed to go, but we would get trapped in beautiful conversations. We both thought so similarly about the ways of the universe. We opened up to each other in ways we both thought impossible. I am so honored to have known you. There will never be another man like you and I will keep you alive in my heart forever. I love you too, Alex. I pinky promise.
