He was born in Portland, Oregon on December 22, 1933. Lee graduated from Tigard High School and joined the United States Marine Corps. While in the Marine Corps he participated in the atomic bomb test program in Nevada. Afterward he attended Oregon State University and Portland State University.
He was married to M. Marie Clark (Gedrose) on November 16, 1956. He was later married to Corrine Blust.
Lee had a career as an Oregon State Police officer and then with State Farm Insurance. He later was VP of Claims with The Grange Mutual Insurance Company. He was a member of the Tigard Masonic Lodge – and held the position as Master in 1986. Lee had a passion for fishing, hunting, camping and driving his car.
He is survived by his children Dean Clark, L. Paul Clark III and Kerin Clark Severson. He was predeceased by his son Gene Clark. He had seven grandchildren (R. Kent, Jill, Karlene, Allen, Katherine, Genevieve and Lilliane).
Lee is survived by his two brothers – Roger Clark of Portland, OR and Doug Clark of Albany, OR; and his sister Cathy Kruger of Portland, OR.
