Born on February 21, 1931 to the late Norman E. Grumbling and Alice Leidy Grumbling in Johnstown, Pennsylvania. Rev. Glenn served as a pastor for 50 years in the First Brethren Church across four states. Upon retirement, he became active in the West Hickory Senior Citizens. He enjoyed going to Bible Study, singing in the Choir, church activities, and visiting family and friends.
Along with his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Nancy Thomas Grumbling; daughter, Rebecca Muñoz and brother, Norman E. Grumbling, Jr.
Survivors include his daughter, Cheryl Black and husband John of Hickory; sons, Wayne Grumbling and wife Jayne of Indiana, Tom Grumbling and wife Jenny of Arizona, Jesus Muñoz and wife Rosa of Florida; fourteen grandchildren; nine great grandchildren; sisters, Esther Daniels of Ohio, Wanda Larson of Florida and sister- in-law, Gracie Grumbling of Pennsylvania.
A funeral service will be held on Saturday, February 23, 2019 at 11:00 a.m. at the First Church of God. The family will receive friends prior to the service from 9:30 until 10:30 a.m.. Pastor Michael Hone will be officiating the service.
