James Donald "Don" Burke

James Donald "Don" Burke, 92 of Texarkana, TX passed away on Friday, February 22, 2019 at a local nursing home. He was born on September 6, 1926 in Stamps, AR. Mr. Burke was retired Bordens Milk Co. and was long time manager of Southern Creameries, he was also a Mason as well as a veteran of the u. s. Army.

He was preceded in death by his wife Elizabeth Burke.

Survivors include two daughters, Sherryl Womack of Texarkana, Texas and Monica Hall and her husband Ronnie Hall of Missouri City, Texas; brother and sister-in-law H. P. and Delma Burke of Shreveport, LA granddaughter, Erin Hall of Brooklyn,NY,;granddaughter Jamie Womack and Marlon Lineberry of Genoa, Arkansas; Grandson Michael and wife Meme Womack of Texarkana, Arkansas; great-grandchildren, Amber Waters and husband Trent Waters, Mallory Womack, Kaylen Foster, Sky Foster and Jordon Thompson; one great-great-grandson, Dean Waters and numerous nieces and nephews

Family will receive friends from 1pm to 2pm Tuesday, February 26, 2019 with funeral service to follow at 2pm at East Memorial Chapel- Moores Lane with Rev. Dennis Heath officiating. Burial will be in Hillcrest Memorial Park under the direction of East Funeral Home-Moores Lane.
