Annamarie “Judy” Jackson (Damato), of Naples, FL. passed away peacefully March 3, 2019 at 94 years young. Born in Philadelphia, PA, she lived for many years in Bucks County, PA where she owned her own Real Estate company. Upon her retirement she moved to Marco Island, FL and spent her summers at her home in Harvey Cedars, NJ. Her final days were spent surrounded by her family. She often referred to Long Beach Island as her “Island in the Sun” where she loved boating, being on the water and watching the amazing sunsets. She had an abundance of energy and was an avid tennis player, loved to dance the night away, and to play in the stock market.
She is survived and loved by many family and friends. Her beloved daughter Karen and son-in-law Steven E. Schultz. Grandson Steven Taylor Schultz; a granddaughter and grandson-in-law Kristen (Schultz) and John “Chris” Patterson; Great granddaughters Laura & Kady Patterson. Her sisters Helen Kowalski and Joanne Kennedy; Several nieces and nephews- Judy Kowalski, Carolyn Kennedy Phillips, Joanne Kennedy Camp and Joseph Kennedy.
A celebration of her life will be on Saturday, March 9, 2019 at Thos L. Shinn Funeral Home in Manahawkin NJ. Visiting hours will be from 11:00am to 1:00pm with a service at 12:30pm. In lieu of flowers please consider a donation to the Popcorn Park Zoo, P.O. Box 43 Forked River, New Jersey 08731-0043.
