Bob (Robert) was born to the late Theodore and Wanda Osada on January 3, 1943 in Detroit, Michigan. He was the youngest of three children and a graduate of Wayne State University.
August of 1964, Bob married Carole Mary Zolnier in Detroit where they had four children: Jill, Colleen, Mark and David. In 1980, he moved his family to Marietta, Georgia where the family grew and now includes six grandchildren. Bob, also known as “PaPa & Pops”, was active in the lives of his children and grandchildren as a spectator, cheerleader, and coach. He found great joy in gardening, reading, music and spending time with family and friends.
He leaves behind his beloved wife of 54 years, Carole Osada. He also leaves behind his children Jill Osada and Mark Cash of Smyrna, Georgia; Colleen Casey and her husband, Luther and daughter, Devon of Flower Mound, Texas; Mark Osada and wife, Stephanie and children, Lucas and Eliza of Charlottesville, Virginia; and David Osada and wife, Melissa and children, Aaron, Sydney and Ethan Osada of Woodstock, Georgia.
A memorial service will be held at 4pm on Sunday, March 17th at Woodstock Funeral Home with visitation an hour prior. All are welcome to join us for a brief reception following the services.
