Wow hard to believe it's been four years since we lost dear Pam. What a trooper she was. Her stories, life and resilence remain as alive as ever in our hearts.  Peace and love always, Connie 

Pam and I had a brief but real life experience together when she moved in with me and my roommates in 1970. 
She was the truest example of wit, patience and understanding, a very hard worker and a wonderful friend. I moved away and we kept touch only sporadically, but each time as if no time had passed. 
I think I’ve always missed her. She was that special of a person. 

It's been 2 years Pam.  But it seems like much longer.   Missing you my close and 
 dear friend.   

What a vivacious spirit! Pam's sense of humor and sense of place. Oh my.
I include a photo of our writing group on the night we read at Cafe Ennui after our booklet came out. I so enjoyed our evenings together when the creative juices and honeyed tea were flowing, and the words tumbled out like fish in a bathtub.  
I'm so glad, Gerry, that you and Eric also became friends and treasure our play dates together. Full of laughter and good meals and a wee bit of wine. These changed over time;  less wine, but always laughter, and poetry. We will not forget all the time we spent together, homing our friendship.

Eric and I send you and the family our deepest sympathies. We are holding you in our hearts.

How can I choose among the many funny, wonderful memories that Pam and I shared through our many years of friendship?  Pam showed me photos of the small town in TN, where she grew up and which inspired  her book “Porch Stories”.   It seems that during the evenings there,  people would exchange greetings and gossip, sitting on the those wrap-around front porches with swings.  Pam had many talents: writer, poet, seamstress (she made her own wedding gown!), embroiderer, collagist, photographer, loving wife and mother and faithful friend to many!  I will value her friendship forever!

Jan and I are saddened by Pam's passing but are so very grateful that we were able to spend time getting to know and enjoying her company.  Her zest for life and courage is an inspiration.  Please accept our condolences and prayers in this difficult time of loss and remembrance.
