James Thomas Wood

Beloved husband of Frances for over 48 years; adored father of Tim Wood, Virginia (Eric) Barnowski, Jay (Vicki) Wood, Scott (Sandy) Wood, and Elizabeth (Shawn) Grove; proud grandfather of Caitlin, Meghan, Elena, Ava, Tristan, Logan, Shelby, Justina, and Matt; great-grandfather of Levii and Lemii; dear brother of Velma (the late Richard) Kaminski, Clifford Wood, Billie (Ron) Hostettler, Betty Ann (Norm) Turnbull, and Ron Wood. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and extended family members.

James was preceded in death by his parents, Corbet and Virginia Wood, his brother Tyron (Patsy) Wood, and a nephew Loren Chimpine.

The family will greet friends from 2:00pm until 8:00pm on Friday, March 15 at Resurrection Funeral Home, 40800 Hayes Rd., Clinton Twp. Funeral services will be held at 10:00am on Saturday, March 16 at the above location. Interment following at Resurrection Cemetery, 18201 Clinton River Rd., Clinton Twp.
