Rosemary G. Snellenberger, 91, passed away peacefully on Friday, March 8, 2019 in Holt, Michigan. She was born on March 10, 1927 in Bay City, Michigan to Fredrick and Rose Mary (Winslow) Burnham. Throughout her life, Rosemary was active at her church, enjoyed making cakes for special occasions, and crocheted a hat for every baby she knew. She loved to travel anywhere she could, and especially loved her trip to the Grand Canyon. Later in life, Rosemary was known as an “international grandma” to the many exchange students and refuge foster children in her family.
She was preceded in death by her husband, James Clark Snellenberger; her son, Tracy Lee Snellenberger, and her granddaughter, Pamela Snellenberger.
She will be lovingly remembered by her children, Fredrick C. (Janet) Snellenberger, Suzanne Yancey, James C. Snellenberger, and Penny Snellenberger; her grandson, Roy Snellenberger; her great-grandchildren, Candace and Amanda; her great-great-grandbaby; and her sister, Pat Craft.
Funeral Services will be held on Friday, March 15, 2019 at Gorsline Runciman Funeral Homes, East Chapel, 1730 E. Grand River Ave., East Lansing at 11am. The family will receive friends on Thursday, March 14, 2019 from 6pm until 8pm at the funeral home.
