Albert Allee was born on May 24, 1946, the son of Charles and Lea (Suppes) Allee. He attended schools in California Utah, Nebraska and Colorado. As a kid Al was really sick.(Grandma Lea Suppes his mother) always favored him and would give him extra cookies.) He was popular in school. When the song Alley Oop came out all the kids in school said it was about him. He put together and painted model cars before he was old enough to own them.
Upon his completion of school he began his love of cars helped to direct him in his career as a truck driver, car painter and auto body technician. He married Maria Solis in 1980 in Commerce City, Colo. The couple made their home in Commerce City, Las Vegas and Denver. The couple later divorced in 1993.
He was a hard worker from the time he was young. He worked on cars loved fixing them up. He was a great painter before it became popular. He loved being a truck driver that was one of his passions. He loved driving all over the county. He was always working even when he didn't get paid for it. His favorite thing to do was talk about classic cars. He would often remind people to take care of their car or truck so you always have something to fall back on.
Al will be remembered by the following endearing qualities, some bad qualities, but more importantly he had good qualities! Al, Father, brother, grandfather. He was a man's man. He raised his four children all by himself. They (Tom, Roy, Ellen, JJ) called him their HERO. He took as good care for them as he knew-how. He tried as hard as any person could. He was an amazing father, his kids were his everything until the day he passed.
He was a unique person with many different layers and qualities. He loved California and would always talk about going back there someday. There is so much to be said and not nearly enough time or words. I just know that he was loved and he loved all of us.
We will all miss your smile. You were everyone's rock, you held us together like an electrical force!
(Hey Ace) he used to say to everyone.
