She was born on May 5, 1944 in Whittier, California to the late Joaquin and Cruz Rodriguez.
Cruz was a housekeeper for 20 years for Sun Valley Lodge. She enjoyed the simple pleasures like, spending time with her family and attending service regularly.
She is survived by her longtime partner Johnny Paiz, son Alex Rodriguez, five siblings Lily Topete, Ted Rodriguez, Alice Jaurigue, Jack Rodriguez and Irene Rios, many nieces and nephews and her precious poodle Mammas.
In addition to her parents Cruz was preceded in death by two siblings Joe Rodriguez and Becky Armenta and nephew Norbert Jacob Armenta.
Family and friends are invited to a viewing on Friday, March 22, 2019 from 9-10AM at West Resthaven Funeral Home, 6450 W. Northern Avenue, Glendale. Funeral services will begin at 10AM burial will follow in Resthaven Park Cemetery.
