Age 88, of Anoka, passed away on March 23, 2019.
Preceded in death by Parents, Elton and Susie Dillon; Brothers, Dick, Don, and Mac Dillon.
Bob loved building and fixing machines. He was proprietor of Dillon Electric in Pelican Rapids and a volunteer member of the Pelican Rapids Fire Department. He was a Jaycee member and sang in the church choir. Later he was a founding member of the Andover Fire Department. He enjoyed traveling; specially to view historic trains and engines. As a master electrician, Bob belonged to the IBEW for more than 45 years. He was known for being the problem solver – frequently tasked with creating solutions for difficult and unusual issues. As an excellent troubleshooter he frequently assisted family and friends with a vast array of home repair and replacement concerns. Spending time with family and friends was precious to him.
Bob is survived by Loving Wife, Dorinne; Children, James (Lynnette) Dillon, Carol (Larry) Dillon, Kathryn (Scott) Dillon, Nancy (Tom) Soberg, Thomas (Mary Jo) Dillon; Step-daughters, Debra (Daniel) Stock, Wenda (James) Jackson, Cindy (Dan) Pflepsen; 27 Grandchildren; 47Great-grandchildren; many Nieces, Nephews; extended Family and Friends.
