Margarita C. Rodriguez

Margarita c. Rodriguez, 82, went to be with her Lord and Savior on Tuesday, March 26, 2019. Mrs. Rodriguez was born on August 13, 1936 in Eagle Pass, Texas to Federico Cardenas and Dolores Moncada. She married the love of her life, Jose Angel Rodriguez on March 10, 1962 in Chicago, Illinois. She was a parishioner for over 40 years at Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church in Houston, Texas. Margarita Rodriguez loved to sing and she sang in the choir at her parish during her earlier years. She also enjoyed attending prayer meetings with her friends from church.

She is preceded in death my her husband, Jose Angel Rodriguez, her father Federico Cardenas Sr., her mother Dolores Moncada and her sisters Consuelo Graciano and Carolina Medina.

Mrs. Rodriguez was a loving wife, mother, sister, daughter, aunt, grandmother and great grandmother. She is survived by her sons and daughters and their spouses: Rosalinda and Victor Guerrero, Jose Jr. and Angelica Rodriguez, Benjamin C. Rodriguez, Maria and Roy Farris and Rita and Benito Lozano. She adored her grandchildren and their spouses: Victor and Rebecca Guerrero, Manuel Guerrero, Joe and Berzayda Rodriguez, Vanessa Rodriguez; Cierra, Savannah and Clinton Farris; Julian and Jasmine Lozano. She delighted in her precious great-grandchildren: Tristan and Andrew Guerrero and Roman Rodriguez. She will be greatly missed by her brother and sister whom she loved dearly: Federico Cardenas Jr. and wife Maria Del Carmen Cardenas and Ana Castaneda.

A viewing will be held at Funeraria Del Angel Crespo, 2516 Navigation Blvd., Houston, TX 77003 from 5:00p.m. to 9:00p.m. on Monday, April 1, 2019. Rosary to be recited at 6:30pm. The funeral mass will be held at our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church, 2405 Navigation Blvd, Houston, TX 77003 on Tuesday, April 2, 2019 at 10:30 a.m. Burial to follow at Forest Park Lawndale, 6900 Lawndale St., Houston, TX 77023 at 12:00 noon.
