Gary L. Hatch died peacefully on the morning of March 27, 2019 at Life Care Center of Greeley. He was born May 12, 1944 in Arizona, lived in various states in the west, and spent the last 22 years in Greeley.
Survived by his wife, Patricia Anne Califana of Greeley; sons and their wives Sargent and Shelly Hatch of Oklahoma, Brigham Hatch and Kristina Hull of Oklahoma, Ace Hatch and Lima Chutkan of North Carolina, Eli and Ivy Hatch of Texas; step-daughter Cindy Baim of Golden; three grandchildren Aidan Prentice of Golden, and Alexandra and Orion Hull of Oklahoma; sister Gayle Nissen and husband Jim of New Mexico; and brother Carl Hatch and wife Nikki of New Hampshire. He was preceded in death by parents Cloyd and Janice Hatch, and brother Scott Hatch.
He spent his professional career in Information Technology in Higher Education, retiring as Assistant Vice President of IT from UNC in 2006. After retirement, he spent time volunteering at Habitat for Humanity and doing projects around the house. He enjoyed traveling and camping.
Services Friday April 12: Memorial Service at 10:00 a.m. at Liberal Catholic Church, 430 10th Street, Greeley. A Celebration of Life will take place at 11:30 a.m. at Allnutt Funeral Services - Macy Chapel, 702 13th Street, Greeley.
