Mr. Mondino was born in Santa Fé, Argentina to Pedro Mondino and Emma Farias. After then having lived in Córdoba, he emigrated to the USA in August 1963, settling in the greater Washington, D.C. area. There he opened up Mondino School of Languages in 1968. From 1971 to 1988, Mr. Mondino worked professionally at the Organization of American States. In 1989, he founded Mondino Accounting & Tax Services, Inc., which owned and operated until 2012.
He was known for his overall brilliance, ambition, bold sense of humor, and love of his family, nature, politics, tango, and Argentine soccer, among others.
Victor O. Mondino is survived by his wife Suraya, son Victor, daughter Andrea, ex-wife Diana, daughters Livia, Liana, and Cynthia, grandchildren Talia, Emily, Garrett, and Matthew, and great-grandchildren Cohen, Elliette, and Jaxon. In Argentina, he is also survived by nephews Alejandro, Marcelo, Santiago, Marcos, and Pablo, nieces María Elena, Susana, and Sylvana, and extended family.
