She was born on April 3, 1944 the daughter of the late Orville A. Evans and Ethel A. (Holt) Evans. On September 21, 1963 at St. Timothy’s Catholic Church in Curwensville she married Ronald W. Kephart.
She graduated from Clearfield Area High School in 1962.
Elizabeth worked as a secretary for Budget Plan, Glen Richey School as a cafeteria aide and retired from the Curwensville Feed Store as a secretary.
She enjoyed spending time with her husband, children, grandchildren and great grandchildren. They were the loves of her life.
Elizabeth is survived by her loving husband of 55 years, Ronald W. Kephart of Olanta; her son, Douglas A. Kephart Sr. and his wife Sue of Glen Richey, daughter, Michelle D. Kephart and her wife Jen of Erie; two grandchildren: Douglas A. Kephart Jr. and his wife Megan of Glen Richey and Rebecca S. Kephart Graham and her husband Jake of Bloomsburg; three great grandchildren: Ryleigh, Liam and Gavin; brother, Richard Evans and his wife Donna of Madera; sisters: Evelyn Skebo of O’Shanter, Dorothy Curry and her husband Larry of Mahaffey and Deb Crowley of Houtzdale and numerous nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents, brother-in-laws: Joseph Skebo Sr. and Ken Crowley, sister-in-law, Joanne Kephart, nephew, Joseph Skebo Jr.; mother and father in-law: Edward W. and Mary C. Kephart.
A funeral service will be held at 11am on Wednesday, April 10, 2019 at the Bennett and Houser Funeral Home, Inc. with lay minister Richard Hertlein officiating. Burial will be in Thompson Cemetery.
The family will receive friends from 5-9pm on Tuesday, April 9, 2019 at the funeral home. An additional hour of viewing will be held from 10am on Wednesday until the hour of services.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Curwensville Library and Glen Richey Fire Hall.
