He was a graduate of Hall High School, Marine Corps Bootcamp MCRD San Diego, and UALR
His passions were his family, hunting, fishing, animals - including penguins, and airplanes
He was preceded in death by his parents, James Edgar LeClair and Kathleen Linton LeClair, a sister, Tammy, and his furbabies, Jethro, Browning, Ranger, Jasmine, Lady, Poncho and Rascall
Jim served his country in the United States Marine Corps from 1973-1977 as a member Marine Corps Airwing. After leaving the active service and graduating UALR, he began a 30+ year career at Dassault Falcon Jet.
He loved and was loved by his surviving family including wife, Margaret, sons, Benjamin James (Elizabeth), and William Ryan, and grandpuppy, Leia, along with nieces and nephews and grand nieces and nephews.
Two services for Jim will be held. The first will be on Friday, April 12, 2019 from 6:00 pm - 8:00 pm at Griffin Legget on 12th Street in Little Rock, AR. The second service will be held at a date yet to be determined.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in his name to Wounded Warriors and Humane Society of Pulaski County
