Mustang resident, Delford W. “Jeff” Jeffrey, 96, went to be with our Lord on Monday, April 8, 2019. Jeff was born in Cardin, Oklahoma to Jesse W. and Ardelia (Robison) Jeffrey. He spent his teenage years working various jobs in Oklahoma, Arkansas and Colorado. When he turned 18, he joined the United States Army and served in Okinawa during WWII. He then became a machinist working in several shops before settling at AT&T where he retired after 27 years. In 1980, he married Betty Kisinger at Crossroads Cathedral where they attended church for many years before changing to The Bridge Church in Mustang.
Jeff was a very talented craftsman and enjoyed fixing and building things, spending a lot of time in his shop. He loved to fish with his son and his friends. He also loved to hunt and taught his children how to hunt at a very young age. He read his bible daily and did his best to lead by example. No better husband or father could be found, we had the greatest! His love for us will live on in our hearts and our wonderful memories.
Jeff was preceded in death by his parents; brothers, Jehoiada and Loice; sister, Norma; son-in-law, Rod Dunn; and step-son, Anthony Kisinger.
He is survived by his loving wife Betty Jeffrey; son and daughter-in-law, Dennis and Debby Jeffrey; daughter, Donna Jeffrey Dunn; step-son, Gene Kisinger; and many grandchildren, great grandchildren, church family, and friends.
