Margaret Fay Locke Tennis, 91, passed away peacefully to be with her lord on April 8, 2019. She was born in Tulsa, Oklahoma, on January 28, 1928. Margaret spent many years working at FECU in the Murrah Federal Building in Oklahoma City.
She was an incredible artist and had a passion for creating beautiful paintings of flowers and other nature scenes. Margaret chose to live her final years closer to family and moved to North Little Rock, AR. Her last 10 years were spent at Robinson Nursing Home where she was loved and cared for dearly by the wonderful staff. While living at Robinson, she developed close friendships with her neighbors. She was crowned Beauty Queen in the nursing home pageant and went on to compete at the state level. Her greatest joy was being a mother to her daughter and “MeMe” to her grandchildren and great grandchildren.
Margaret is survived by her daughter Connie Garner (Mike), her grandchildren Mike Garner (Kay Kay) and Liz Eanes (Stephen) and her great grandchildren, Meza, Halle, Austin, and Daxton and her sister Billie Louise Turner. Margaret was preceded in death by, her parents, George T and Margaret Turner, her sister Georgia, and her brothers Edward Turner, and David Turner.
Funeral service will be Saturday, April 13, 2019 at 2:00 p.m. with visitation from 6-8 p.m. on Friday, April 12th. Both will be held at Griffin Leggett Rest Hills Funeral Home in North Little Rock, AR.
