Cameron attended Leander schools, and graduated from Leander High School in 2017. He was a very gifted student athlete and played football for the Leander Lions. After his graduation, he attended one year of college as a Bearkat at Sam Houston State University in Huntsville. His second year of college was spent as a Roadrunner at the University of Texas at San Antonio. While in college, he was majoring in Education and Kinesiology, but his favorite subject had always been History.
Cameron was a die-hard and passionate Dallas Cowboys Fan. He had a contagious laugh and infectious smile and his energy could lighten up any situation. He loved spending time with his family and friends. He loved movies – especially scary ones – and he worked at Cinemark Theater in Cedar Park. He was very patriotic and was so very proud of his sister and brother-in-law, who are both Marines. He was a supportive and encouraging brother and was looking forward to becoming an uncle this July.
He is preceded in death by his great-grandfather, Paul Russell; step-grandmother, Perri Ingram; great-grandparents, Doc and Larue Ingram and Ellis and Viola Latham. Those left behind to cherish Cameron’s memory are his parents, Roy and Jennifer Fikac; sister, Kynadie and husband John Kennedy; brother, Canon Fikac; great-grandmother, Marie Russell; grandparents, Johnny Ingram, Lisa Ingram, and Elizabeth Fikac; aunts and uncles, Lana and Chris Gore, Bart and Angeline Fikac, Leonard and Christina Stewart and Jackson Ray Ingram. He is also survived by numerous cousins, other family members and countless friends who, like his family, will miss him more than words can ever express.
Serving as honorary pallbearers will be Chris Gore, Kade Johnson, Josh Stewart, Dayten Croft, T. J. McGinnis, and Joseph Anderson.
A memorial service celebrating Cameron’s life will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, April 13, 2019 at The Fellowship Round Rock, 3379 Gattis School Road, Round Rock, 78665.
In honor of Cameron’s love for the Leander Lions and the Dallas Cowboys, guests are encouraged to wear red and blue or blue, white and silver.
