Isabella “Auntie Belle” Ramona (nee Salomone), age 91, passed away peacefully April 21, 2019 in Burton. Born January 6, 1928 in Yukon, PA., she was a longtime resident of Euclid. Isabella was an accomplished artist, and worked with many mediums including oil painting, water colors, and drawings. She also taught art to her family and other people in the neighborhood that had an interest in art. Isabella was a very creative person, a real artist in every way. Along with art she enjoyed sewing and cooking. She also loved baking and was said to have made, by many family members, “the best pies”. Although Isabella had many interests, her greatest joy was her family, especially her boys. She also enjoyed keeping in correspondence with her family in Italy. Isabella is survived by her son Brian (Andrea); granddaughter Sofia Ramona; sisters Caroline “Minnie” (Franz) Dienes, Clara (Jerry, deceased) Mercurio, Helen Fleck, and Beatrice (George, deceased) Byrne; sister-in-law Janet Salomone; and beloved friend Betty Sopher. She is predeceased by her son David; siblings Nicholas Salomone, Mary (Edward) Salamone, Anna (Joseph) Pardi, John Salomone, Alford (Lorene) Salomone, and Raymond (Florence) Salomone.
