Vincent Mlcuch Jr., June 26, 1923 - April 17, 2019. Born one of four children, in Chicago, Illinois. Vincent graduated from Northwestern University, with a degree in Aeronautical Engineering and bravely served in the U.S. Navy as a tail gunner in WWII, receiving the Distinguished Flying Cross.
He built his home of 60 years in Glen Ellyn, Illinois and enjoyed a long and proud career at Western Electric. He was also a long standing officer in the American Czechoslovak Engineers Society.
Survived by his three children, seven grandchildren and three great-grandchildren, Vincent will be fondly remembered for his generosity and sense of humor, respected for his intellect and ingenuity, admired for his strength, courage and sterling character and deeply loved by his family and friends.
As we celebrate Vincent’s 95 years on earth, let us take comfort, as he is now home with God and reunited with his wife of 67 years, Jarmila.
