Mrs. McClure was born on November 16, 1926 in Franklin, New Jersey to the late Joseph and Teresa Pumlenyi.
She enjoyed listening to classical music, reading, crossword, word search, and jigsaw puzzles and working in her yard. In October of 1996, she composed a poem that was published in a book of poems. She cherished visiting and spending time with her family and friends the most. She was a devout Catholic and was a member of St. Francis of Assisi Catholic Church in Apopka.
She is preceded in death by her sons, Matthew and John McClure; husband, John McClure; parents, Joseph and Teresa Pumlenyi; brothers Edward, John, and Joseph, and her sister, Mary.
Survivors include her loving children, Margaret (Richard) McGregor, Veronica McClure, Mary (Richard) Morris, Elizabeth (David) Spalding, Edward McClure, Agnes Lempereur, and Michael (Theresa) McClure; grandchildren, Sheryl (Robert) Bennett, Anthony (Trish Havard) McClure, Aaron McClure, William (Monica) Villanueva, Patrick Sperber, Nicholas Lempereur, Samantha Spalding, and Madison Detko, and great grandchildren, Jordan Villanueva, Alonzo (Shelby) Hardy, Alex Hardy, Celeste Villanueva, Serenity Villanueva, Joseph McClure, and Emma McClure.
Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11 am on Saturday, May 11, 2019 at St. Francis of Assisi Catholic Church, 834 S Orange Blossom Trail, Apopka, FL 32703. Inurnment will follow the Mass at 1 pm in Woodlawn Memorial Park in Gotha followed by a celebration of life at the funeral home.
