Della I. Crissman, 82, passed away on May 6, 2019 in Greenwood Village, CO. She was born on February 23, 1937 in St. John, Kansas, daughter to Henry and Florence (Wright) Blackwood.
Della graduated from Topeka High School. She was a member of Reformed Presbyterian Church of North America for 30 years. Recently, she was a member of Cherry Creek Presbyterian Church for many years and served in other Presbyterian churches as Sunday school teacher and Pioneer Girls leader. Della worked many years as an Administrative Assistant and she was an active bowler.
Della married Paul C. Crissman on August 10, 1969 and they made their home in Littleton, Colorado. She is survived by Paul, her 2 daughters, Darla Hotchkiss (Al) of Larkspur, CO; Chandra Callaghan (Rob) of Parker, CO and her son, Rick Givens (Heather) of Alta Loma, CA. She is also survived by her brother, Carl Blackwood (Marcia) of Indianapolis, IN, and sisters Alta Tweed (John) of Winchester, KS, Twila Cunningham (Dick) of Jenison, MI and Corajean Smiley (Steve) of Athens, GA, 11 grandchildren, 10 great-grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews. She is so loved and sorely missed.
A celebration of life service will be held at 1:00 on Tuesday, June 25, 2019 at Cherry Creek Presbyterian Church. All are welcome. In lieu of flowers, contributions in memory of Della, may be made to:
