IRMO – Funeral services for Betty Louise Meetze Stone, 75, of Irmo, will be held at 3:00 p.m. Sunday, May 12, 2019, at Bethel Lutheran Church in White Rock, SC, with burial in the church cemetery. The officiating minister will be Reverend Roy Butler.
Pallbearers will be Greg Leviner, Logan Leviner, Dennis Ballentine, Andrew Ballentine, Trey Meetze, Bobby Saylors, Danny Carns, and Phil Carns.
Mrs. Stone was a member of Bethel Lutheran Church all of her life. She was born on May 10, 1943 and went to be with her Lord and Savior on Thursday, May 9, 2019. She is the daughter of the late John Andrew and Janie Clark Meetze. She married Harvey Wayne Stone on February 16, 1963.
Surviving are her husband of 56 years and her three sons, Barry (Cynthia Chouinard), Brent (Carmen Boatwright) and Brian (Melissa Browne); four grandchildren, Emily Rose Mary Stone, Aleena Olivia Louise Stone, Avery Hefner, and Maggie Eliza Stone; two sisters, Irene (Claude) Leviner and Linda (Jay) Leviner; and numerous nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her brother, John Andrew Meetze, Jr., and her maternal and paternal grandparents.
She worked as a sales associate with Avon, World Book Encyclopedias, Tupperware, five years with the Columbia Record Newspaper, and thirty-two years with the Irmo Post Office.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Bethel Lutheran Church or to the American Cancer Society.

The family will receive friends from 5:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. on Saturday, May 11, 2019, at Caughman-Harman Funeral Home, Chapin Chapel.
