Patrick Allen Hall, age 66, native and life-long resident of Birmingham, Alabama, passed away Thursday, May 9, 2019. Soon after retiring from U.S. Steel in 2003, he began his 15 years as a bus driver with Shelby County Schools on an Oak Mountain High School route.
"Pat" served in the Alabama Air National Guard. He was a graduate of John Carroll Catholic High School and a member of St. Theresa of the Child Jesus Catholic Church in Leeds, Alabama. He was a loving husband, father, brother, and friend, and an avid baseball fan.
Pat was predeceased by his father, Charles Kearney Hall, Jr. Survivors include Pat's wife, Stacey Dorsey Hall of Birmingham; his mother, Elizabeth Hall Brandt of Birmingham; one daughter, Tina Hall Willis (Hamp) of Birmingham; two step-sons, Brennan Cooper (Tasha) of Montgomery, Alabama and Chase Cooper of Birmingham; one grandchild, Elliott Rose Willis; one sister, Charlotte Hall Nelson (Mike) of Newnan, Georgia; two brothers, Kearney Hall (Barbara) of Fort Myers, Florida and Michael Hall (Fran) of Birmingham; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be 9:30 a.m. to 11 a.m. on Tuesday, May 14, 2019 at Ridout's Southern Heritage Funeral Home in Pelham, Alabama, immediately followed by A Celebration of Pat's Life at 11 a.m. at Ridout's Southern Heritage Chapel, Pelham. Burial will be at Southern Heritage Cemetery, Pelham.
