“Big Lou” was a doting husband, tremendous father, iconic grandfather and loyal friend. He had an everlasting influence on countless people through his thirty four years as a teacher and assistant principal in Camden City schools. Additionally, he touched many lives coaching youth baseball and basketball. Two of his proudest accomplishments included being inducted to the Father Judge High School Athletic Hall of Fame and winning the 1962 NCAA Men’s Basketball Championship while at Mount St. Mary’s University.
