Alberto Reza Sosa, 85 of Mesquite, Texas, went to rest on Friday May 17, 2019. Beto was born March 25, 1934 in Villa Ocampo, Durango, Mexico, to father Jesus Jose Romero Sosa and mother Trinidad Reza Sosa.
Beto was a Deacon of the Church of God 7th Day, where he labored tirelessly in the Lord’s work, traveling on many church trips visiting the brethren. He enjoyed reading his Bible, singing unto the Lord, even when he had forgotten who his loved ones were, he didn't forget the songs of praise to God. He also enjoyed things like gardening, spending time with his grand kids, great grand kids and traveling to Mexico to visit his family.
He was preceded in death by his parents along with his brother Fidel Sosa and his sister Maria Ines Sosa Torres. He is survived by his wife Andra Sosa, his sisters Rogelia Sosa Apatiga, Francisca Prieto Sosa, Maria Jesus Sosa. Son Jesus Alberto Sosa, daughter, Amalia Jeane Telesca and her husband Alfonso Telesca, daughter Monica Turcios and her husband Juan Turcios. Stepson Ricky Herrera Sr. and his wife Olga Herrera, stepson Moses Herrera and stepdaughter Cynthia Perea and her husband Miguel Perea Sr. Seventeen grandchildren and eight great grandchildren.
Please join us in celebrating Beto’s life in a visitation service on Wednesday May 22, 2019 from 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. and at his funeral service on Thursday May 23, 2019 from 11:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m., at Anderson Clayton Gonzalez Funeral Home at 1111 Military Parkway, Mesquite, TX 75149. Followed by a graveside service at Roselawn Cemetery at 1000 US-175 Frontage Road, Seagoville, TX 75159.
