Hattie accepted Jesus Christ as her Lord and Savior at an early age, and was baptized into the flock of Shady Grove Baptist Church of Hattiesburg, Mississippi under Pastor Rev. R. W. Woullard. Lois attended White Oak School in Hattiesburg, MS in her early years and graduated from high school, where her concentration was home economics. During her teen years while, in Mississippi Lois met the Late John Henry Wolfe, Sr., a U.S. Army veteran, and they were later married.
On June 3, 2019 in Akron, Ohio, God wrapped his loving arms around her and peacefully called her home.
She leaves to cherish her precious memories four children John Henry Wolfe, Jr.; Marvin R LeNeo, Ann C Brown, and Norman B (Shirley) Wolfe; one sister Alice Wilson-Sims of Indio, CA.; many grandchildren, great-grandchildren; and a host of nieces, nephews and friends.
Preceded her in death are husband, John Henry Wolfe, Sr.; mother, Ida Wilson-Booth; father, Jasper Wilson, Sr.; sisters, Heartysenta Ealy, Havannah Boykins, Mary Wiggins, Maddie Williams, Dolly Wilson; and brothers, Woodrow Wilson and Jasper Wilson, Jr.
Family will receive friends on Friday, June 14, 2019 from 12:00 – 1:00 PM with the funeral service immediately following at 1:00 PM at Rose Hill Funeral Home 3653 W Market St. Akron, OH. Rev. David M Nelson, officiating. Entombment Rose Hill Burial Park.
