Mary was born on the first Sunday in August 1924 in Joplin, MO to Charlie and Freda (Boose) Fuller. A baby brother, Charles joined the family in December 1925. Shortly after a move to Kansas City in 1928, the young mother died of quincy followed by myocarditis at Grace Evangelical Hospital. The young father was left with a four year old daughter and a son not yet three. The father remarried in 1934 and Mary Gladys Wilson and her young son Richard joined the family. In 1938, the family moved to Gravette, AR. In addition to the baby sister, Betty, that Mary had so wanted others came along, Frances, Raymond, Barbara and Eugene.
Mary graduated from Gravette High School in 1941 with WM. Holland White the love of her life. She returned to Kansas City to find a job and he left for the Navy. They married April 26, 1944. In 1952, they moved to the Northland with their baby son John Charles. Mary was an active member of First Christian Church, North Kansas City, MO since 1955. She was a volunteer in her community and was honored as Woman of the Year in 1988 by Northland Church Women United.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Charlie, Freda, and Mary Gladys; sister Frances; brothers Charles and Richard; and by her husband of 73 years, WM. Holland.
She is survived by her son John Charles; grandsons Nathan, Charles Eugene and Johnathan; great grandsons Gabriel and Ryker; her sisters Betty (Wayne) Butts and Barbara (Wesley) Robinson; brothers Raymond (Nancy) Fuller, Eugen (Laurie) Fuller; and Lynn Fuller (her brother Charles’s wife). She is also survived by many nieces and nephews, cousins and friends she cherished.
