Faye peacefully passed away on Friday morning, June 7, 2019, entering her heavenly home which God prepared for her. She is proceeded in death by her parents, Joe Carroll and Ava Ella McNair Jones; beloved husband of 55 years, Bill Lynch, Sr.; and sisters Jo, Carolita, and Doris.
Faye, lovingly known as Meemaw, is survived by her brother Martin; her two sons Bill Jr. and Bob; daughter-in-love Sandy; cherished grandchildren, Trey, Melissa, Coby and Chad; adored great grandchildren, Jack, Davis, Reagan, Lainey, Mason, Avery and Ethan; and nieces Deborah, Paula, Pam, Patti, Carolyn, Nancy, and Angie. Last but not least , the only dog she ever loved, Dottie.
Faye was born on Oct. 2,1931 at home in a tiny farming town of Thalia, Texas. She spent most of her early years in Crowell, Texas, where she met and married her high school sweetheart in 1950 and became the most devoted wife and mother in the world. She had a career as a bookkeeper, but always supporting her husband's career as a game warden which led to where she called home from 1972 to 2008 in San Antonio, Texas. Three years after her husband's passing , she moved to Houston, Texas to be with her beloved boys.
Faye was devoted to family her entire life. She loved spending time with each one, especially on holidays. She loved to travel, was a sports fan, and enjoyed bowling. Meemaw was a devoted Christian who enjoyed her morning Bible devotions and quiet prayer time with the Lord. She will be greatly missed by her family and friends and all who knew her. She leaves behind countless loving memories and a legacy of faith and family for us all to uphold.
