Solpha Pace, 81, passed away peacefully on June 08, 2019 at Saint Vincent's Riverside Hospice in Jacksonville Florida. She was born February 15, 1938 in Birmingham, Alabama. Solpha was a graduate of Minor High School in Birmingham. She was married to Dave Pace. She worked as a massage therapist and spent much of her time lovingly as a care giver for generations of children. She was a faithful member of Faithbridge church for as long as her health would allow. Solpha found joy and happiness in her the Lord and her strength in her faith. She was adored and loved by all who came into her life and home, both for her warm heart and her selflessness. She had it within her to give hope and strength and shared her love and faith with her family.
Solpha was survived by her sister, Marie Cason and brothers, Leon, Don, James and Ray Willis, her grandchildren, Amanda Pace, Sieara Thompson, Erica Raath, and Brandon Bizier. She was also survived by her great-grandchildren, Hailey, Hannah, DayQuan, Damatric, DaShaun, Tiffany, Master, Marissa, Kyra, and Kaylee. Solpha was predeceased by her Husband Dave Pace, her children Carol and Jerry Pace, and her Siblings Ruby Quinn and Edward Willis.
Visitation will be held at 11:00am, followed by the Celebration of Life Funeral Service at 12:00pm, Wednesday, June 19, 2019 at Greenlawn Funeral Home, 4300 Beach Boulevard, Jacksonville, FL 32207. Graveside services will follow and be held in Greenlawn Cemetery. A Reception and Gathering will be held at Faithbridge Church, 13720 McCormick Road, Jacksonville FL 3225.
