Bonnie graduated Park Ridge High School in 1963 and married her high school sweetheart June 6, 1964. You never saw one without the other. Bonnie began dating Kenny when she was only 12. Through the years they were residents of Park Ridge, Wyckoff, River Vale, Orlando Fl, and presently Montvale forming many friendships and touching hearts along the way.
As a youth she worked at Tice Farms bakery, then Bell telephone as an operator, Haworth Country Club as a waitress and Marriott Vacation Club in marketing. In addition to raising her family she loved having company and her laugh was infectious. Everyone was touched by her genuine smile, hugs and loving ways. She was a true friend and had wisdom to share.
Bonnie was affectionately known as Grandma as she was the biggest supporter to their three children and nine (9) grandchildren. Her whoo-whoo yell would cheer each of them on time and again. She lived for her husband, children and grandchildren. Bonnie knew each of their sport stats, teachers, coaches, friends, successes and tears like no other and was so proud of each of them.
Her Christmas dinners were a tradition in her home. She loved to cook Syrian meals for her family and friends. Weekends and parties at their River Vale pool were legendary.
She was a member of the Park Ridge Elks and volunteered her time to those in need.
Bonnie loved the Lord and her faith brought her through many of life’s challenges.
