Mary Alexander was born to Emil and Albina Kasprzyk in Floresville, Texas on December 22, 1955. She earned her B.S. degree in Animal Science from Texas A&M in 1977 and married her husband, Sid Alexander in St. Mary’s Church in College Station on February 25, 1978. She enjoyed working at the Texas A&M Veterinary School Pharmacy up until becoming a mother in 1982. Mary was a devoted and loving wife to Sid for 41 years. She loved her two children very much and was a committed stay at home mother. All during this time, she took an active role in VIP programs for the schools that her children attended. She was awarded VIP of the Year designation in College Station for 1993. Other than this, the other great passion of her life was caring for animals, first as a career at Texas A&M and later taking care of the many family pets.
She is survived by her husband, Sid Alexander of College Station, her son and daughter in law Michael and Leahanne Alexander of Houston, her daughter, Samantha Alexander of McKinney, her grandchildren Emmeline and Finnegan Alexander of Houston, her brother and sister in law, Larry and Nancy Kasprzyk of San Antonio, her brother Edward Kasprzyk of Corpus Christi, and her cat, Frances. Also, her loving and devoted caregivers, Wynonna Anzualda, Tracey Flores, Jami Johnson, Sandra Torres, and Martha Cepeda.
